New projects are helping to expand Park Circle’s business district beyond the existing section of East Montague it currently occupies.
Cityvolve, a real estate firm and Buist Byars & Taylor client, recently sold land on O’Hear Avenue to Commonhouse Aleworks, and will manage construction of the 7,200 square-foot brewery and tap house.
“As more and more energy has built up around the East Montague district, this represents a shift a block north,” said Jeff Baxter, a partner in Cityvolve. “As East Montague has matured, the development is pushing off that to the north to fill out some of the blocks that have been vacant.”
Palmetto Brewing Co. has also announced plans to move from its current Huger Street location to this part of the Park Circle area.
