Joseph Welch has been hired as controller for Buist Byars & Taylor LLC.

In this position, Joe will oversee all corporate finance and accounting operations, including AP/AR/payroll processing and monthly/year-end financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.  In addition, he will be a member of the firm’s management team, tasked with ensuring quality control over business processes and accounting policies, as well as analyzing systems to develop new practices and make recommendations moving forward.

He earned his MBA in financial fraud examination and his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting, both from Saint Xavier University in Chicago.  Furthermore, he received certification as a CPA through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Prior to joining Buist Byars & Taylor, Joe was a senior accountant with Athletico Physical Therapy in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
