Megan Finch Stevens Special Counsel

Megan Finch Stevens serves as Special Counsel in Buist Byars & Taylor’s commercial real estate practice area.

Megan’s practice is primarily focused on commercial real estate and corporate law. She represents buyers and sellers in commercial matters, including drafting contracts, handling negotiations, reviewing title and due diligence, and preparing leases.  On the corporate side, she handles matters such as entity formation, structuring, and creation of corporate governance documents.

A lifelong resident of the Lowcountry, she grew up on the Isle of Palms and attended Ashley Hall.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina, her Master of Arts in Teaching from College of Charleston, and her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law.

Prior to joining Buist Byars & Taylor, Megan has worked in the Charleston area, building her real estate, development and corporate practice and experience.  She is based in Buist Byars & Taylor’s Mt. Pleasant office at 652 Coleman Boulevard.

Megan lives in Mount Pleasant with her two children. She enjoys traveling and spending time on the water with family and friends.
