James “Jay” C. Spears III has been named Partner with Buist Byars & Taylor. Jay joined the firm in 2023 and has been an integral part of the growth of our Tax/Estate Planning department. With an LL.M. in taxation from University of Florida Levin College of Law, his practice primarily focuses on income tax and gratuitous transfer tax considerations, asset protection, and other complex estate planning matters. Congratulations, Jay!
