Lauren Gulley is an senior associate with Buist Byars & Taylor LLC. She graduated magna cum laude from Sewanee, The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where she earned a BA in political science with a focus in international law and relations.
She earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, where she was an active member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity, as well as treasurer of the International Law Society, and a student ambassador for the College of Law.
Before joining the firm, Lauren served as a law clerk in several large Charleston area law firms. She also served as a legal intern for the Honorable Richard M. Gergel in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. She is active in CREW Charleston, and is serving as the organization’s president for 2020.
Originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee, and now living here in the Lowcountry, Lauren’s interests include running, spending time at the beach, and supporting her beloved Tennessee Vols.
