Kate Johnston Salazar Senior Paralegal

Kate Johnston is a Charlotte, North Carolina, native, and a 2014 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She grew up visiting Charleston and knew that one day she would call it her permanent home. In 2015, she did just that!

Prior to joining Buist Byars & Taylor, Kate worked in the retail sphere for Lilly Pulitzer and Gretchen Scott Designs.

She lives in her home on Johns Island with her husband, Nick and their beloved rescue pups, Riley, Bug and Lola. She enjoys all things North Carolina Basketball, Lilly Pulitzer, and living at the beach.
