Joseph L. Garcia III has been named as a partner with Buist Byars & Taylor LLC.  He primarily handles residential real estate matters and manages the day-to-day operations of the firm’s Johns Island office, located in Freshfields Village.

He is a member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Charleston Class of 2018 and does pro bono work for Kiawah Conservancy and Seabrook Island Greenspace Conservancy.

Joseph joined Buist Byars & Taylor LLC as an associate in 2009, after interning while attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, and was promoted to senior associate in 2017.  Prior to law school, he graduated magna cum laude from the College of Charleston as a business administration major with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics.
