Gray B. Taylor — Shareholder

Gray manages the commercial real estate and default services practice groups of Buist Byars & Taylor, LLC, and maintains a diverse practice covering all aspects of commercial real estate development and finance, commercial lending, and real estate and land use litigation. He represents developers, lenders, local and national builders and individual landowners in planning, developing and financing residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.  In additon, Gray represents both financial institutions and private investors in the valuation, acquisition, resolution and disposition of problem assets and loans.

 

Gray holds a bachelor’s in natural resources from the University of the South, a master’s in forestry from Clemson University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of both the Charleston County and the South Carolina Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in South Carolina, as well as the U.S. District Court. In 2008, Gray became one of the first attorneys in South Carolina accredited as a LEED AP.  He is a member of the Real Property Section of the American bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, the serves on the Board of Directors for the Mount Pleasant Land Conservancy.
